Why
can't I receive attachments to emails in Outlook Express?
In their infinite wisdom, Microsoft has decided that all attachments
are dangerous to Outlook Express and by default the security settings
do not allow attachments. Any update to Internet Explorer or Windows
XP can change these setting back to default. To get your attachments
open Outlook Express, select "Tools" then "Options"
then the Security Tab and uncheck the "Do not allow attachments....",
click OK and your attachments should be available again.
